Once again the cold weather is staring us in the eye and we need to be prepared. Please make sure that your child(ren) dress properly for school because at times it is cool in the building and t-shirts and flip flops do not provide enough warmth.

Because of the shorter periods of daylight each day, it is adviseable to wear light color outerwear and /or reflective markings on clothing when your child(ren) are out waiting for the bus. We want to keep everyone as save as possible.

School Closing Guide

When weather is questionable for school closings, please tune into the following stations:

Channels 2, 4, 7 and 12

Radio

WJR - 760 AM
WWJ - 950 AM
WWGZ - 103.1 FM

The district tries to contact all of the above media. Please do not call the school.

As a reminder - if school is closed due to inclement weather, all activities scheduled for that afternoon and evening are cancelled also.
